Sirshree’s spiritual quest, which began during his childhood, led him on a journey through various schools of thought and meditation practices. His overpowering desire to attain the Truth made him relinquish his teaching profession. After a long period of contemplation on the truth of life, his spiritual quest culminated in the attainment of the ultimate truth.
Sirshree realized that the lack of Understanding was the missing link in all paths leading to Truth. According to him, the Truth has been condensed and interpreted ambiguously as a natural result of its paradoxical nature.
All paths that lead to the truth begin differently, but end at the same point — Understanding. Understanding is complete in itself. Listening to this understanding is enough to attain the truth.
For instance, he says, according to one teaching, our true nature is Everythingness, while there is another teaching that refers to Nothingness as our innate nature. Both are true, and yet the higher understanding transcends both these teachings. We are Nothing with the potential of Everything.
Everything is a game of beliefs.
Understanding is the whole thing.

In the same vein, Sirshree goes on to expand on many traditional assertions, such as the statement, “The purpose of spiritual quest is self-realization.”
He says that Self-realization is a milestone in the journey. One needs to progress further to stabilize in the state of Self-awareness. He refers to this state as Self-stabilization. He goes further to say that Self-stabilization is not the end! it is only then that the true purpose for which your body is on Earth begins to be fulfilled. It is then that expression of the true Self begins.
Self-realization is just the beginning. A true master will not just give you a glimpse. He will guide you to a state where you will be permanently established in the experience of the Self.
To distinguish this understanding, Sirshree has coined the term ‘TEJ’ which literally means Bright, but which points to that which is beyond duality. For example, there is happiness, and there is unhappiness. True bliss exists beyond happiness and unhappiness. Similarly, there is ignorance, and there is knowledge. True understanding is the wisdom beyond both ignorance and knowledge. To express this, Sirshree has coined a new term called ‘Knowlerience’ to point to that understanding which can only be known through non-conceptual experience.
Only God (Consciousness) exists. Seek and confirm whether you really exist.
To disseminate this understanding, Sirshree has presented Tejgyan—a unique system of wisdom—that helps one to progress from self-help to Self-realization to Self-stabilization. This system of wisdom has been accredited with ISO 9001:2015. This system for wisdom makes it possible for people from all walks of life to directly experience this understanding. Thus, this wisdom is accessible to every human being, regardless of religion, caste, social strata, country or belief system.
There is no way to happiness. Happiness, by itself, is the way.
There is no remedy to sorrow. Sorrow, by itself, is the remedy that leads to true freedom.
Sirshree has delivered more than 3,000 discourses that throw light on the Truth and various aspects of practical living. His discourses clarify the core tenets of various religions. His teachings simplify various aspects of life and unravel the missing links in spirituality. His is an amazing ability of conveying the subtlest understanding through simple and casual contemporary language. He weaves the profound aspects of Truth into analogies, parables and humour that provoke one to contemplate.

In 1998, Sirshree founded the Tej Gyan Foundation–a not-for-profit organization–committed to raising mass consciousness. The Foundation has its presence in more than 400 centres in India and also in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
